Dear (Insert name of friend, relative, etc. here)

I hope this letter finds you well! As a member of the Guilford High School Music department, I am participating in a fundraiser run by the GHS music boosters to benefit our school’s student musicians. To raise much needed funds for equipment and travel, we are selling high quality fruit through a well established fundraising organization, Pee Jays Fresh Fruit. A portion of the proceeds will go to the music boosters who support all branches of the GHS music department, but the majority of the profits will benefit me directly by defraying the cost of any travel that I do at GHS with the music department. (This year, the Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble & Voices are travelling to New Orleans, and in past years, GHS music groups have travelled to Italy, Washington DC, Disney World, Baltimore, New York City and Williamsburg.)

If you would like to support the GHS music department by purchasing fruit, it is easier than ever! Simply go to our fundraising page:  http://freshfruitorder.org/Orders/GHSMUSIC

When you are in the process of completing your order, be sure to select my name from the menu so that my teacher knows that I am the one who will deliver the fruit to you, and so that I get credit for the sale. (Important:  If you live close to Guilford, I will be hand delivering this fruit to you after it is delivered to my school. The fruit will not be shipped to you directly.  If you live far away, you will need to select one of the items marked: DIRECT DELIVERY ONLY).

Pee Jay’s is committed to providing only the highest quality fruit, and they guarantee 100% satisfaction. They have many products to choose from, and the fruit will be arriving at a perfect time for holiday gifts (the tentative delivery date is the week of December 12th).

Thank you for supporting a great cause with your purchase!

Sincerely,  (your name here)
