GFFE STAR Awards – A Great Gift for your Child’s Teacher

Are you looking for the perfect teacher gift? The Guilford Fund For Education (GFFE) STAR award program is a great way to honor your child's educators. All proceeds support the GFFE Grants program, which supports exciting education initiatives from elementary school through high school.

The STAR Awards (Staff & Teacher Appreciation & Recognition Award) program recognizes teachers and staff members for their dedication and contributions to education. With a donation of $20 purchase a STAR recognition award and give a deserving educator the lasting gift of both appreciation and recognition.

All GFFE STAR award educators receive a certificate from the GFFE with a personalized message from you. Recipient names are posted on the GFFE website and their principals are notified.

In addition to the STAR Award program, the GFFE offers other ways that Guilford families can help promote innovation and excellence in education while acknowledging someone special. Recipient names are also posted on the GFFE website. Other opportunities include:

The Friend of Education Awards honors someone who has made a contribution to public education in Guilford. A donation of $20 per individual honored will reward someone who has volunteered in classrooms, served on the PTO, or is a member of our community who cares about education.

The Spirit of Learning Donations allow you to make holiday & birthday shopping easy & charitable. A contribution can be made as a holiday or “thank you” gift to friends, family, business associates, a host or hostess. Simply choose the amount you wish to give (minimum donation is $20), and we will notify the gift recipient.

The Memorial Tribute Award allows you to make memorial condolences meaningful and charitable. A contribution can be made as a memorial remembrance for family, friends, and business associates, community leaders and neighbors.
