Spring Sports 2012- Sign UpsStudent-athletes may begin signing up in the nurse's office on February1st if they are interested in trying out for a Spring sport 20112. To be determined as eligible to try out for any sport, whether you are a returning or new player, you must do the following:
Forms should be dropped off in the nurse's office or in the main office before 2:30pm. They can also be mailed to: Guilford High School Attn: Nurse's Office 605 New England Road Guilford, CT 06437 The nurse determines your eligibility from a medical aspect and posts the sport lists that show whether the student-athlete is in compliance with all the required medical elements. This list will be given to the coach as a record of eligible student-athletes to try-out. All forms must be turned in to the nurse by noon in order to participate that day. (**See note below.**) Students who turn in forms to coaches will not be allowed to participate until the nurse can check the forms. If all elements are not completed the student-athlete will not be allowed to try-out until they are done. Please read the information page on the Medical Aspects of our sports program for more detailed information. All required medical elements are explained in detail on this page. **Note: For the Fall season only, forms must be turned in to the nurse by noon the day before the season starts.
