Welcome to A.W. Cox Elementary School.  Our mission is to foster excellence in a respectful and challenging academic environment that leads to a lifelong passion for learning and the realization of each individual’s highest potential for success in life.

This year, my first as Principal of A. W. Cox, promises to be a wonderful year of relevant, rigorous and engaging work in our classrooms, along with enriching and fun extracurricular clubs, activities, performing groups and events.  We will continue to build upon the success of the past while seeking new opportunities to enhance and promote student achievement to even higher levels. 

We are fortunate to have a highly professional group of dedicated teachers and support staff.   Their commitment to the Principals of Learning helps guide instruction and makes our school a safe and caring place to learn. 

We look forward to a positive and productive year together and extend an invitation to our parents to join us at school activities and events whenever possible.  We value your involvement and support in your child’s education!
