Be a library volunteer!
Interested in becoming a LMC volunteer? We can use your help in a variety of ways and at a variety of times. The more help we have, the more we can offer your children.
We need your help on a daily basis. Every class needs a volunteer to help check in and check out books. You may also be asked to help a child find that 'special' book. In addition we can ALWAYS use help shelving the books and keeping the shelves in order. Our class times offer flexibility and can give you the opportunity to help out in your child's class.
There are lots of other clerical tasks that need doing in the media center. Some example include laminating, helping to prepare displays, repairing books, cataloging books, and putting together requests from teachers. Each day has different opportunities for volunteer help and all are rewarding.
So you only have an hour? or thirty minutes? That is okay. We would still love to have your help. Give me a call, or email me using the contact link to the left of the page.
Remember, the LMC is a great place to see your school in action.
