Extra Help/Detention Duty

Homework Policy

* Homework in fifth grade can be up to 90 minutes per night. The assignments are designed to practice what is introduced in the classroom or to expand upon what has been learned.

 

* Homework is posted on the board every day in each classroom. Students are expected to independently copy those assignments into their student planners and to check the planner each evening to make sure that those assignments have been completed. Expect math and language arts homework on a daily basis.

 

* If homework is not handed it on the date it is due, and there is no note from the parent, the student is invited after school until 3:15.

           MATH Extra Help  = Every Tuesday after school

           Detention - Tuesdays and Thursday until 3:10pm
