World Humanities is an interdisciplinary course, collaboratively taught by teachers from the Social Studies and English Departments. The purpose of the course is to provide opportunities for an integrated learning experience through which freshmen can improve their writing, speaking, and reading skills within the context of World Civilizations and English I.

This course, with its student-centered approach, alternative assessment opportunities, and emphasis on treating each student as a unique learner will provide an excellent transitional opportunity for incoming freshmen.

Successful completion will give the student the following credits toward graduation: 1.0 Social Studies.
