Students and parents/guardians of students enrolled in the Algebra I course at Adams Middle School should be aware of the following Guilford High School (GHS) mathematics department policy and requirements. Since this course is equivalent to the GHS Algebra I Level 1 course, students are subject to the same regulations established by the mathematics department at GHS for that course.  A student in the Algebra I program at Adams Middle School must have a minimum final average of B to proceed to Geometry Level 1.  If any student has a final grade average below B, they will repeat Algebra I in 8th grade.

The required grade breakdown for this class is 50% tests, 35% quizzes, and 15% homework/class work
