Here is an outline for the upcoming social studies quiz. Lesson summaries are being handed out on Friday (6/3).

-Here are the notes we have taken so far in social studies.

-Our final social studies quiz will most likely be June 10. The study guide can be found here. We will be taking notes to prepare. Please keep them in your folders.

-The S.S. project is due June 8th. Presentations begin June 13th.

General Study Tips:

1. Review study guides by recreating them at home. This is a good way to review each night. You can retype them, make new cards, create a PowerPoint, etc. Use the Scholastic Flash Card Maker!

2. You can also look at the end of the chapter. There are review questions that I encourage students to answer as a way to prepare. I also invite students to bring me the answers so that we may look at them together.

3. Come to my room for study hall to listen to the book on CD or discuss anything that you are having trouble with. This includes study strategies, concepts and test taking skills.

4. Re-read chapter sections with a friend or family member and then quiz each other.
