About Us

The Guilford High School Sports Band is a volunteer ensemble that performs at Football Games and other community events throughout the year. We play fun music and do our best to support our athletic teams while having a great time in the process. Rehearsals are every Friday in the Fall from 2:30-4:00

Think you might be interested in joining?

Come to our first rehearsal on September 10th to see what we are all about. Got a busy schedule and need to miss a rehearsal or a game? No problem. We are easy like that. You can also earn community service ours in this ensemble or use your participation toward getting level 1 credit in Band or Wind Ensemble.

Some of our favorite songs...

Iron Man, Final Countdown, Back in Black, What is Hip?, Respect, Time Warp, Smoke on the Water, Proud Mary, Brick House, Tear the Roof of the Sucker, Rocky Theme.

BFL (Band Football League)

On game days, we have some time to kill between our practice and the game....so what do we do? We play BFL! BFL is our own interpretation of the game of football. No actual athletic ability is required, but a sense of humor is a must.
