Nine years ago, the GHS Band Boosters became the GHS Instrumental Music Boosters when we invited parents of string players and jazz ensemble members to join our organization. This year, the GHS Instrumental Music Boosters will become the GHS Music Boosters, and will be open to participation by parents of ALL GHS Music students. This new organization will support all branches of the music department through fundraising and the coordination of volunteers to assist with all music department events.
We cordially invite all interested music parents (especially parents of Choral students) to become parent volunteers this year as we begin to find ways to support the choral program. Being a parent volunteer does not take a lot of time (we only have eight meetings total all school year!), but it does come with the rewards of working closely with the music staff to make everyone’s experience in the music department more successful.
