No Child Left BehindSuperintendent's MessageGuilford Public Schools has received the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) District and School Reports for the 2009-2010 school year. These reports include information about Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) analysis for Guilford and each of our schools; Connecticut Mastery Test (CMT) and Connecticut Academic Performance Test (CAPT) results; and the percentage of teachers who are “highly qualified.” In order for a district to achieve AYP, the participation and progress criteria must be met on both the CMT and CAPT by all students and in each subgroup. NCLB requires districts that received Title I funds share these reports with parents. Printed copies will be available at the district office located at 55 Park Street, in each of the school offices and at the Guilford Free Library. District and School Reports 2009-2010 School Year
