Guilford Public Schools Calendar

The intention of the Guilford Public Schools administration is to develop calendars that are first and foremost beneficial to learning and to students' needs. This includes providing blocks of instructional time in approximately eight-week segments. This time frame is conducive to learning. To provide optimal instructional time, when possible, days when school is not in session are clustered.

2011-12 School Year Calendar

The last day of school and Guilford High School graduation is currently June 15, 2012. The last day of school for Melissa Jones Elementary School only is June 18, 2012. (Melissa Jones experienced a power outage on October 31, 2011, and could not open.)

These dates are subject to change should there be additional school closings during the school year.

2012-13 School Year Calendar

The Board of Education approved the 2012-13 School Year Calendar at the February 13, 2012, Board of Education Meeting.
